Mogadishu Mayor Omar Mohamed Mohamud Filish has appointed Ali Ahmed Abdulle (Ali Somali) as the new district commissioner.

Omar Filish office has taken the sacked the former district commissioner after being accused of exchanging vouchers illegally for money in return.

The former journalist appointment adds to the list of number of former journalists who now are district commissioners in the region.
