
6 September 2020 – Mogadishu -A car bomb has exploded last night near the presidential palace in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
Two people were confirmed injured in the blast, and no one was killed, according to an eyewitness.
Prior to the blast, security forces were alerted by onlookers, who were very close to the Hass petrol station.
Similar bombings have recently taken place in Mogadishu, mostly targeting government officials, with civilian casualties the most.
Many wonder how, a city with many security personnels and checkpoints, is it possible to still have mines planted and then exploded, usually killing innocent lives.
